Figure. Concentration-dependent activation of HCAR3 by 3‐OH‐octanoic acid

Reporter cells were transfected with either the expression plasmid for human hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor 3 (HCAR3) or the mock plasmid and treated with various concentrations of 3‐OH‐octanoic acid. Data points shown are the mean ± SEM of an experiment (n = 3), and the curve is a fit to Hill equation with an EC50 of 130 µM.
